Skype, FaceTime or Zoom is a way to see your counsellor face to face from your own computer to engage in your personal therapy.
I will offer you a free informal chat online, where you can meet me to experience what counselling over the internet might feel like. I will share with you how I work and answer any questions you may have. If you feel comfortable to share a little of what you are wanting to bring into therapy, we can discuss together how therapy might help you.
Confidentiality: Online counselling takes place within a secure, end to end encrypted online program. We will work within a signed working agreement where the limits of confidentiality are explained in our initial consultation. Although I will work with a high priority of confidentiality, you will need to take responsibility for making sure you are able to work securely and in confidence at your end of the line.
Many people have found online counselling to be very beneficial. Though you are relying on the internet and technology, you may value being able to engage in therapy from you own home. Each session is 50 minutes long, working with your agenda and at your pace.
Even though we are no longer living with COVID restrictions I have decided to continue working online for the foreseeable future, my present clients whom I have been seeing face to face, have found that the transition to online therapy has not affected their experience of therapy.
If you have been struggling and were considering face to face counselling before the lockdown, then please consider the opportunity of a free online chat to see how I might be able to help.
