Based in Loughborough, I can offer you a safe, non-judgemental and confidential environment in which to explore areas impacting your life that you have not previously known how to explore. I understand that entering counselling can be a very hard thing to do, so please be assured that as a “Person Centred Therapist” I will work empathically, valuing you at all times, and working with your agenda and at your pace.
People access counselling for many different reasons, and to acknowledge you need help is very brave. I hear often people say “I should be able to cope” or “I feel a failure because I need help” (a particular struggle for men). Accessing talking therapy is a strong and not a weak thing to face, however if you are suffering and confused, not knowing where to turn, then please contact me. I will not judge you or analyse you, the truth is you are probably more normal than you think.
I am a member of the BACP and embrace the ethical framework as an important part of the way I work with clients. You can find the ethical frame work by going to www.bacp.co.uk/ethical_framework/
I have ten years experience working with Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Bipolar, Relationship Issues, Bereavement, Abuse, Low Self Esteem and a variety of other life issues.
